%X Some new p-quinones were prepared by reacting the compound 2,3,5,6- tetrabromo-benzoquinones with p-aminoacetophenone. The resulted compounds were cyclized with hydroxylamine to furnish the required compounds .The structures of the prepared compounds were elucidated spectroscopically through IR, 1HNMR, and MS. These compounds were screened for their antibacterial activities against four standard bacterial organisms.
