%0 Journal Article %T Relationship between Leadership Style and Productivity in Public Sport Organizations %A Eslam Babaeei %A Saleh Bahari %A Shahriar Piri %J - %D 2012 %X The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between leadership style (people-oriented vs task oriented) and self-report productivity among managers of sport organizations in East Azarbayjan Province. 50 leaders (36.5¡À8.1 years old; management experience 11.92¡À8.6 years) were selected voluntarally. The Leadership Behavior Description Questionnaire (LBDQ) (Metzcus and Burden's, 1969), Self-Assesment Organizational Productiviy Questionnaire (SAOPQ), (Asadi, 2001) and Individual Characteristics Questionnaire (ICQ) was used for data collection.
