%X Sa£¿etak The additional rescue archaeological excavations of the AN 5 Petrijevci ¨C Kara£¿evo 1 site, on the route of D34 state road bypassing Petrijevci, uncovered the remains of archaeological structures located on the northern slopes of a gentle elevation next to a place where a small stream used to run. The central part of the excavated area contained post-holes and narrow ditches, but also fragments of La T¨¨ne and medieval pottery, indicating that the excavations comprised the northern edge of the prehistoric and medieval settlement standing to the south of today¡¯s Petrijevci and the route of the future bypass
