%0 Journal Article %T Kitsch in Teaching Art in Primary School %A Ku£¿£¿evi£¿ %A Dubravka %A Vaji£¿ %A Ivana %J - %D 2018 %X Sa£¿etak The main research problem in this graduation thesis is the amount of teacher¡¯s knowledge of term kitsch in visual art. The research is based on 1 ¨C 4 grades of elementary school. This graduation work is divided into two parts. The first part is based on generally meaning of term kitsch, on its beginning and art¡¯s areas which term contains. The second part contains whole research review which aim was to determine the amount of teacher¡¯s kitsch knowledge. Research had set four hypotheses and it is carried out with surveys based on a sample consisting of 193 teachers of elementary schools from these counties: Splitskodalmatinska, Dubrova£¿ko-neretvanska, £¿ibensko-kninska and Zagreba£¿ka.
