Adsorption characteristics and kinetic of Pb2+ removal by fly ash from biomass power plant were studied in the paper. The results indicated a good capacity of the fly ash to Pb2+ removal. As the Pb2+ concentration increased from 0.100 ppm to 20.000 ppm, the removal rate of Pb2+ decreased from 97% to 49.6% at 15?C; and it decreased from 100% to 50% at 25?C; at 35?C, the removal rate of Pb2+ was reduced from 100% to 55.6%. When the Pb2+ had a higher concentration, enhancing temperature had limited impact on the removal capacity of fly ash.
