%X Sa£żetak On 27 December 2017, a male specimen of Cirl Bunting was observed in agricultural field near the town of £żakovo in East Slavonia. This is the first known occurrence of the species in the lowland part of eastern Croatia. Cirl Bunting is a common resident breeder of the Mediterranean part of Croatia, and a sporadic breeding species in north-western hilly areas in the continental part of the country. Few recent data from the hills of eastern Slavonia suggest that the species might breed here as well
