%X Sa£¿etak The paper determines the overlap (or lack thereof) between Dani£¿i£¿¡¯s eastern neo£¿tokavian accentuation and the accentuation of Ma£¿urani£¿¡¯s Slovnica H¨¨rvatska and it is shown that Ma£¿urani£¿¡¯s grammar, which is the first extensive description of the accentual patterns of standard Croatian, belongs to western neo£¿tokavian circle. The focus of the study is the accentual typology and the morphological accentual patterns of nouns, adjectives and verbs
