%X Sa£¿etak £¿Sons of the country£¿ and £¿fathers of literature£¿ in literary and theatrical adaptations of Slobodan £¿najder, Branko Brezovac and Zlatko Pakovi£¿ have been put on stage against the homogenic ideology of canonic authors or the £¿homeland champions£¿ of Croatian literature. £¿najder has staged Mato£¿, Brezovac has chosen Cvetni£¿ and Pakovi£¿ has put on stage Krle£¿a. All three contemporary authors (£¿najder, Brezovac and Pakovi£¿) with their theatrical means and parody techniques have stood as witnesses to the homeland as a special type of apocalyptic location and its accompanying literature, where the £¿older writers£¿ cannon sleep peacefully, but rather continue to £¿grumble£¿ about a systematic injustice, from their own perspective of £¿zombies£¿ (neither dead nor alive protagonists)
