%X Sa£¿etak The Royal Palaces Complex in Dedinje in Belgrade represents one of the most important ideological topoi of the Kara£¿or£¿evi£¿ Dynasty as well as the major key to understanding of the Yugoslav Monarchy in the interwar period. An insight into this elaborately conceived representative complex and its landscape design reveals the desired cultural frameworks, value system and collective identity of a heterogeneous community that King Alexander I was striving to create in line with the ideas of Yugoslavism
