%X Sa£¿etak The author starts the paper by listing information about himself and about the circumstances that brought him, as a collector and the founder of school local history collection of complex type, from Na£¿ice to Osijek, precisely, to the Museum of Slavonia, dr. Danica Pinterovi£¿ and prof. Mirko Bulat. The main part of the text presents the cooperation of the author, in his position of the head of the school collection in the Elementary School of Na£¿ice, with the Museum of Slavonia staff , especially with dr. Danica Pinterovi£¿. They exchanged archaeological information, worked together on drafting the content and managing the school collection, while he also got expert help in writing his first professional papers. They exchanged information about the current state of archaeological sites in Na£¿ice and its surroundings. Given her long experience and expertise, dr. Danica Pinterovi£¿ helped the author and his associates to align their activities and work on the collection with basic principles of the museum profession. She personally reviewed the material collected and gave a series of useful instructions and suggestions for improving the work. Her words fell on fruitful ground. The head of the school collection finished the after graduate study of museology and the results of his collector work are useful even today, 40 years later. Under the mentorship of dr. Danica Pinterovi£¿, the author wrote and published his first two works in the field of Antique archaeology
