Dual-specificity tyrosine phosphorylation-regulated kinase 1A (DYRK1A), a kind of serine/threonine protein kinase, is able to phosphorylate numerous substrates, playing an important role in various physiological activities and correlates to multiple diseases including nervous system disease, cancer, diabetes and so on. In particular, it is considered as an important target of curing neurodegenerative diseases.
