These yarns are used in a wearable electronic application as touched-based capacitive sensor to wirelessly control a toy robot, BB8. Touching the conductive yarns triggers a control mechanism that is integrated with touch recognition system which communicates wirelessly accompanying with electronic systems to run the B88 robot mechanism. This study demonstrates a wearable electronic application that is on the human¨Cmachine interface. Similar systems can be used in many other wearable electronic applications and can be turned to marketable products %K Chemistry %K coatings %K intelligent textiles %K smart textiles %K technical yarns %U https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/1528083718772301
