Turner %J Professional School Counseling %@ 2156-759X %D 2018 %R 10.1177/2156759X18816671 %X Based on the Integrated Conceptual Model of Student Success, we used structural equation modeling (path analysis) to test a model of college readiness counseling for Native American high school students. Results indicated that college readiness counseling and achievement motivation predicted achievement, while parent support and school climate predicted achievement motivation. The effect of school climate on achievement was fully mediated by achievement motivation. Only achievement predicted college aspirations.
