%0 Journal Article %T Neuroscience Underlying Personality Traits, Spiritual Transcendence and Leadership Styles %A Rajshekar Krishnan %J NHRD Network Journal %@ 2631-455X %D 2018 %R 10.1177/0974173918799139 %X Abstract After a brief introduction to the basic terminology of neuroscientific investigations, this article showcases the findings of neuroscientific investigations into each of the traits of the five-factor model of personality (FFM), namely openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism. It further presents the findings of research on spirituality and meditation (S&M), and finally focuses on the neurological findings with respect to transformational leadership (TL).
