If counselors recognize the family issues involved in the unique concerns of twins, counselors can more effectively counsel twins. This article will explore the twin bond and the close relationship that twins share. Specifically, both strengths and weaknesses of the twin bond will be depicted. A case example will demonstrate common concerns among twin clients, and a case conceptualization will be included. By identifying the family issues experienced by twins, counselors will be more successful in addressing twin clientsĄŻ needs.
