%0 Journal Article %T A roundtrip ¨C Inspired by Gustav Jahoda: Observations of a mature student %A Elke Murdock %J Culture & Psychology %@ 1461-7056 %D 2018 %R 10.1177/1354067X18779048 %X There was a brief overlap between Gustav Jahoda¡¯s path towards the end of his academic (pre-emeritus) career and my own as a student at the Saarland University ¨C a prominent place in the development of cultural psychology. This article highlights some of Jahoda¡¯s fruitful collaborations with Saarbruecken colleagues on the history of (cross-) cultural psychology as well as definitions of perspectives within the field.
