%X Cerebral fat embolism syndrome has been identified in patients with long bone trauma, and usually occurs after a symptom free interval of 12£¿h. Treatment includes supportive care, and outcome is variable. We describe a case with earlier than expected presentation with good outcome despite poor initial prognostic signs
