%T Person of peace methodology in church planting: A critical analysis

%X The missiological approach to church planting that focuses on finding a person of peace ought to be reconsidered. This article cobbles together from the different church-planting movement advocates what a person of peace is. It then holds those definitions and understandings up to the light of Scripture and raises questions about the use of the terminology by CPM advocates. It then demonstrates that this issue is significant not just for the accuracy of scriptural application and interpretation, but also has ramifications for current practitioners. Finally, it concludes by suggesting a possible substitute way of understanding the concept of open and receptive people
