It is one of the most prevalent neurodevelopmental disorders, occurring in about 1 of 800 live births throughout the world. The Stanford Binet scale is the most applicable for studying the intellectual development of children aged from 3 to 5 years. The study involved 30 children with Down syndrome aged from 3 to 6 years, brought up in a non-governmental educational institution ¡°Umnichka¡± in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
