With the increasing donor pool, the advent of improved immunosuppressive drugs and surgical techniques, this number is expected to increase significantly in the coming years. Lifelong immunosuppression in these recipients makes them subject to a host of complications affecting multiple organ systems. Ophthalmic complications after lung transplantation are uncommon and range from infections to malignancies (Table 1). Some side effects are specific to the drug such as cyclosporine (CsA) induced retinopathy, while others can be attributed to systemic immunosuppression. The authors provide a detailed review of the various ophthalmic complications after lung transplantation with emphasis on early recognition of symptoms and emerging treatment options %U http://jtd.amegroups.com/article/view/24861/html
