%X Endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) is a minimally invasive procedure performed for the diagnosis, staging and restaging of mediastinal lymphadenopathy in lung cancer (1) and other lung conditions such as lymphoma, sarcoidosis and tuberculosis (TB) (2-4). It is an alternative to mediastinoscopy, which is considered for many years as a reference standard for sampling mediastinal lesions (5,6)
