%X Lung cancer has the highest incidence and causes the highest mortality among all cancers in China, which was projected to strike about 733,300 Chinese and to cause almost 610,200 cancer-related mortality in 2015 (1). Although more and more drugs have been developed and applied to treat lung cancer, the therapeutic efficacy is still poor. Platinum chemotherapeutic agents, such as cisplatin, are conventional drugs for treating advanced lung cancer. Despite the favorable initial response, they finally become inefficient in most patients because of cisplatin resistance (2)
