%X Adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC) is a malignant tumor that occurs in the adrenal cortex, with an annual incidence of 0.7¨C2.0 per million (1). Due to the high degree of aggressiveness and propensity of metastasis, ACC patients present advanced disease since the diagnosis and do not benefit from surgery. At present, the treatment of ACC includes surgery (2), mitotane (3), standard chemotherapy, including the scheme Etoposide, Doxorubicin and Cisplatin, or steptozotocin (4), or gemcitabine plus capecitabine (5), radiotherapy (6), and target therapies (7-11). However, a complete resection remains the most effective treatment (2)
