%X Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths worldwide. Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) accounts for about 85% of all lung cancers (1). Radical resection, including complete tumor resection and systematic lymph node (LN) dissection, is the standard treatment for I¨CIIIB stage NSCLC. LN metastasis (LNM) is an important factor affecting prognosis: 5-year survival with LNM is 26¨C53% (2).
