%X According to annual statistics reported from the American Cancer Society (1), more than 1 out of every 4 cancer deaths are due to lung cancer. About 80% of lung cancer cases are non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It is classified into three pathological subtypes: adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and large cell carcinoma. Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) is most common in young women and Asian populations, and it is associated with the mutation of some molecular targets, such as BRAF and HER2 (2)
