%0 Journal Article %T IDENTIFICATION OF A COMPOSITE LOAD MODEL WITH APPLICATIONS %J 电力系统自动化 %D 2002 %X Composite induction motor load models have been long studied in power systems. However, the identifiability problem of the load model, i.e. whether the parameters could be identified with the measured data, has not been studied. It is found in this paper that the 3rd order composite induction motor load model is structural unidentifiable with presteady and dynamic response, but identifiable with adding poststeady. Both theoretical analysis and case studies approve the conclusions. Then a genetic algorithm is applied for estimating the parameters of the load model. Practical applications are reported %K power systems %K load modeling %K induction motor %K identification %K power systems %K load modeling %K induction motor %K identification %U http://www.aeps-info.com/aeps/article/abstract/11357?st=article_issue
