%X This lectureship is supported by a sum of money bequeathed to the Association by its namesake in 1960. In 1963 the Council decided to use the income from the fund created from the bequest to support a 30-minute lecture given at the annual meeting by a member selected by the President. The first lecture, entitled ¡°Urinary Stone,¡± was given by Dr. John Eager Howard of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1965
