%X In patients with food allergy (FA), avoidance is necessary to prevent anaphylaxis.
Many healthcare providers have minimal formal training on patient education of food
avoidance. Little is known about allergy fellows¡¯ empathy toward FA patients, and
¡°experiencing life¡± with FA may increase empathy. There are few published reports
of physicians-in-training simulating the daily life of a patient with medical conditions.
