%X 了解美军随军牧师的职能任务，给我们打开了一扇研究美军现代战争作战心理的窗户，让我们更加 清楚地触及到掌控美军士兵精神、士气和价值理念的一支特殊的力量。以往业界通常把随军牧师描述成以上帝的 名义、挥动着宗教的大旗、在精神上影响着美国大兵的神职人员。而本研究通过大量的资料分析，逐渐捋清了随 军牧师职能任务变迁的脉络，提出作战动员、人际协调、获取信任和提升组织凝聚力才是当代美军随军牧师主要 职责的观点。特别是希望通过了解美军随军牧师职能任务特征，为我军心理工作提供借鉴和启示。<br>Understanding the works of American military chaplains provides us a useful way to investigate the psychological characteristics of US army. Additionally, we gradually realize that the chaplain is a special group who greatly influences spirit, morale, and value orientation of American soldiers. In the previous literatures, scholars usually regards chaplains as the “God's mouthpiece”. Based on lots of researches, we make clear the changing process of the primary work of American military chaplains and think their current duties aim at war mobilization, interpersonal relationship coordination, trust acquisition, and organizational cohesion promotion
