Manufacturing the “Shanghai Ark” Based on the Theory of ANT: the Social-Spacial Reconstruction of the Memorial Landscape of Shanghai Jewish Refugees from the 1990s %A 单凌 %J 国际新闻界 %D 2019 %X 摘要 通过引入行动者网络理论(ANT)搭建空间生产的分析框架,本文尝试追溯自上世 纪九十年代至今,上海犹太难民的纪念空间是如何在由官方主导、各种社会力量介入的 行动者网络中被生产出来的,并以此检验和反思理论框架。研究发现上海文化治理的逻 辑经历了从被动应对到主动挪用特定地方形象作为城市文化发展策略的过程,地方政府 作为核心行动者,先后提出“犹太人寻根地”“上海城市文化遗产”“海上方舟”三个 强制通行点,通过利益赋予、征召、动员搭建不同的行动者关系网络,开启了纪念空间 的生产和再生产过程。随着行动者网络从单一走向多元,提篮桥街区面貌得到提升,带 动了区域复兴和观光业的发展;上海与犹太人世界的交往得以重续;犹太难民对上海的 认同感被逐步转译为这座城市“博爱”精神的体现,“方舟”叙事既与犹太人大屠杀记 忆勾连,宣传中国的人权形象,又能培育国民的认同感。通过抽丝剥茧地分析这样一种 “地方主导、跨国力量参与、渐进式更新”的旧城改造模式,个案展示出ANT应用于空 间生产研究的潜力,同时也发现了若干在理论上值得继续探讨的问题。
With the case of Tilanqiao historic streets, this article discusses the social-spacial reconstruction of the memorial landscape of Shanghai Jewish Refugees. The way the memorial landscape has changed offers an opportunity to examine the cultural governance regimes in Shanghai. Drawing on the perspective of Actor-Network-Theory (ANT), it is argued that Tilanqiao has undergone three major stages of translation: home for the exiled Jews in early 1990s, Shanghai cultural heritage at the beginning of this century, and the symbolic “Shanghai Ark” from 2008 till now. The findings from the case study show that ANT can provide a thorough and detailed analysis for urban renewal projects, and it also reveals several issues that must be overcome before ANT can be adequately applied to the social production of cultural heritage sites %K 上海犹太难民 %K 纪念空间 %K 文化治理 %K 行动者网络 %K 空间生产
