%0 Journal Article %T Computational hydrodynamic analysis of a highly skewed marine propeller %J Journal of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering %D 2019 %R https://doi.org/10.3329/jname.v16i1.38757 %X The objective of the current paper is the study of the flow around Seiun Maru Highly Skewed (HSP) marine propeller by assessment of the blades forces and moments applied for non-cavitating case, in open water (Steady case) and behind a non-uniform ship wake (Unsteady case).In order to estimate a propeller performances, Reynolds-Average Navier Stokes (RANS) solver is used .The Moving Reference Frame (MRF) is used for the study case, however the sliding mesh technique is adopted for the unsteady case. The obtained results are compared with experiment and SQCM methods.
