%X Dr. Laplante graduated from McGill University Medical School in 1962 and completed urology residency at the Montreal General (MGH) and Royal Victoria Hospitals in 1968. He was awarded the McLaughlin Travelling Fellowship to pursue postgraduate training in renal transplantation at UCLA and in urologic oncology at New York Hospital, Cornell University
