%X An 8-year-old cat was presented with vomiting and weight loss. Histopathology and cytology revealed systemic mastocytosis, a rare condition and a clinical challenge. This case emphasizes the significance of cytological evaluation of smears in diagnosis of mastocytosis and in confirmation in biopsy specimens
