%X There is no doubt that this is an outstanding moment for the history of the nursing course of Faculdade de Filosofia, Ci¨ºncias e Letras of Mandaguari (FAFIMAN). Precisely when it is commemorated 10 years of the course, the department takes on the strength and willingness to launch the Revista Paranaense de Enfermagem (REPENF). We believe that the recognition of the translational research is relevant for the improvement of the practice(1), as well as the maturity of the course and the scientific-academic formation of the faculty cooperate so that the structural bases for the creation of this vehicle of diffusion of the knowledge in the field of health and nursing can be shown.
