%X Neuroendocrine differentiation is a form of immunophenotypical metaplasia encountered in tumors lacking neuroendocrine morphological features, especially high grade carcinomas of cohesive types, including up to 18% of breast carcinomas. Neuroendocrine type is exceedingly rare encountered in discohesive lobular breast carcinomas, as few case reports indicate (1-3). In most cases, neuroendocrine differentiation occurred in less than 50% of the tumor cells
