%X The paper presents a research on the derivation of hydronames in the vicinity of the village of Konop. The author has selected a part of all hydronimes, which is presented in the study. The names are presented first in their dialectal forms and afterwards in their standard literary forms. The language analysis is supported by geographical and historical information in the paper, leading to more reliable findings
