%X Abstract This study was made in paediatric patients affected by diabetes mellitus type 1. Fasting blood samples were obtained to determine glucose, bilirrubin, uric acid, ascorbic acid, ceruloplasmin , alb¨²min and LDLox lev-els. We found high levels of LDL ox and glycemia, and low levels of the rest of the antioxidants. We conclude that oxidative stress was present in these patient
