	<span style=\"font-size:14px;\">抗战前夕，重庆及附近的巴县和江北县爆发了特大旱灾，政府和民众非常重视农业改良促进生产恢复进行救灾。当时主要的农业改良措施包括：农作物种植法改良和农作物改种。农业改良救灾取得了一定的成效——使一些干旱地区的旱灾情况有所减弱。<br />
On the eve of the Anti-Japanese War, a major drought occurred in Chongqing and nearby Baxian and Jiangbei counties. The government and people attach great importance to agricultural improvement to promote production recovery and disaster relief. At that time, the main agricultural improvement measures include: crop cultivation method improvement and crop replanting. Agricultural improvement relief efforts have had some success—reducing drought conditions in some arid areas.</span>
