%X In this work, the elastic cross section is calculated at energies above the Coulomb barrier for 3He + 58Ni using a Woods-Saxon potential. The solutions of the radial Schrödinger equations are calculated numerically and they are introduced in the S matrix, after which the cross section is obtained. The parameters in the potential are adjusted to satisfy known experimental data.
