本文基于《十九大报告》汉英翻译文本比较,以翻译协调论理论为指导,在翻译过程中注重“抓小词”、“划句子”和“览全篇”,不断协调汉英语言文化差异,分析论证协调翻译过程中,如何针对《十九大报告》中的中华文化特色词汇、“四字格”结构、英汉语言句式和风格几方面不断协调,方便西方读者理解接受。
Based on the comparison with the Chinese-English translation texts of Report of 19th National Congress and directed by the Coordinated Translation Theory, the thesis put emphasis on three aspects in the translation process: “grab the single word”, “underline the special sentence” and “scan the passage in the whole”. It aims to probe into the coordinated translation strategies in dealing with vocabularies with Chinese cultural characteristics, four-character phrases, and dif-ferent syntax and style in Chinese and English, so as to make the translated text more compre-hensible and acceptable to Western readers.
