Following the perspective of realist constructivism and the method of framing analysis, this study analyze the media coverage of AIIB from three international media outlets - China Daily, New York Times and the BBC since March 12th to April 15th, 2015. We find that BBC and the China Daily appears resonance frames for the coupling of interest; New York Times and China Daily appears con?ict frames in terms of discursive consternation; BBC appears silence frames in the predicament of public opinion. During the reporting of AIIB issue, Chinese media has made a great step forward; meanwhile, the effect of international communication still depends on the realist interest relations
