The Hidden Deep Back-stage: Relationship between Content Creators and Audiences in the Openned News Production A Case Study of the Report of Zhuo Wei in China Youth

%X 摘要 本文结合戈夫曼及梅洛维茨的“前后台”场景理论,以《中国青年》杂志对卓伟的 报道及相关微博评论为例,运用框架分析和内容分析的方法,从新闻报道的内容、新闻 报道的发布两方面梳理了互联网环境下传播场景嬗变所重构的传受关系的新特征。论文 提出,在开放式新闻生产条件下,媒体的“后台”在一定程度开放以后仍然存在“深后 台”,这是传播者维系新闻职业权威的“场景”(situation),也可能进一步强化受众的 被动性。对“深后台”的识别和探讨有利于更理智地认识新闻业生产变革的全貌。
This paper combines Goffman and Meyrowitz’s dramaturgical theory with the empirical case study of China Youth report on Zhuo Wei and Weibo commentary using frame analysis and text analysis methods to research new features of the relationship between content creators and audiences in the Internet environment. This paper discusses the content of news reports and the release of news reports, proposes that under the conditions of opened news production, audiences are still dominated by the ‘deep back-stage’ of content creators after the openness of established media’s ‘back-stage’.This is the space for content creators to maintain the authority of journalism and may further strengthen the passiveness of the audiences. The recognition and exploration of the ‘deep backstage’may facilitate a more sensible understanding of the overall picture in the production of journalism
