%X 西安交通大学校址，是唐代的常乐坊与道政坊。公元八世纪至九世纪初，唐玄宗、吴道子、王维、韩？帧⒄怒b、白居易等一大批著名艺术家都在这里居住或工作过，该文就是以这六位艺术家为代表，考证了他们与西安交通大学浓厚的地缘关系，以及在此地域取得的卓越艺术成就。<br>The location of Xi′an Jiaotong University was formerly the site of Chang-le-fang and Dao-zheng-fang（The two departments were located at the East Gate of Chang′an City of the Tang Dynasty. Fang means a subdistrict surrounded by street in the Tang Dynasty） in the Tang Dynasty. During the eighth century to early ninth century, a large number of renowned artists have lived or worked here, including the Emperor Tang Xuanzong, Wu Daozi, Wang Wei, Han Gan, Zhang Zao, Bai Juyi etc. This paper investigates the profound geographic relations between the former six representative artists and Xi′an Jiaotong University, and their extraordinary artistic achievements
