A long-time recognition that hepatitis B virus (HBV) is not contagious through diet but a blood-bornedisease is questioned in this paper. The author puts forward a contrary theory that HBV infection happens mainly throughdiet. In general conditions when the body’s immune and digestive functions are normal, even if HBV is carried withdiet into people’s digestive tracts, digestive juice will kill it, hence HBV is not able to enter the blood streams. But if thebody is suffering from respiratory tract infection with decreased resistance or when gastrointestinal infection leads togastrointestinal disorders and digestive juice secretion disorders, HBV would be most probably carried with diet into thedigestive tract, and due to disordered digestive juice secretion that fails to kill the HBV, it is possible for the HBV to gointo the human blood streams, as a result, the people would be infected. It is estimated that the probability of HBV spreadthrough diet is much larger than that by blood and body fluid, so people are warned to maintain vigilance and develop goodhealth habits to prevent HBV from entering the digestive tract %K 乙肝病毒 %K 传染途径 %K 饮食 %K 血液及体液
