Textbooks are the base of teaching and the important tools of cultivating high-quality talents. This article discussed some deficiencies in the textbook Pathology (8th edition) that is assigned by the Ministry of Health. The deficiencies include the inconsistency of professional terms, improvable quality and quantity of figures, inaccuracy of content, no closeness to the clinical cases and practice, and lag of information network. We hope to provide some reference suggestions for improving the quality of textbooks and the construction of courses, as well as for the innovation and development of the textbook Pathology and medical education in our country %K 《病理学》 %K 插图 %K 专业名词
