The rapid depletion of traditional energy sources directs people to seek new energy sources. People have directed to energy resources that are not harmful to the environment and can be found everywhere on the earth. The main sources of these new energy are water, solar and wind. Water, solar and wind energy are endless energy sources. £¿n this study, a hybrid system with solar and wind energy was designed on the Av£¿ar Campus of Kahramanmara£¿ S¨¹t£¿¨¹ £¿mam University. With system designed, firstly it aims to generate electricity with zero carbon emission. The aim of this system is to produce electricity which has zero carbon emission. The designed hybrid system consists of two solar panels (260 W), one wind turbine ( 500 W), two batteries (100 Amper/hour) and one inverter (1600 W). It also has a braking system to prevent damage to the wind turbine during very windy weather. Two voltage converters which convert them to desired voltage and current values by measuring AC-DC voltages and 8-channel data logger were used to analysis by storing the values of the generated energy. The DC voltage obtained from the solar panel and the AC voltage obtained from the wind turbine are first rectified in the charge control unit and these DC voltages are then stored in the battery. DC voltage stored in the battery is converted into AC voltage using inverter and is fed to a 1000 W bulb. In addition, the voltage and current values obtained from the hybrid system are obtained instantly by means of the data logger. Thus, the voltage and current values obtained from the solar panel and the wind turbine were taken and evaluated in different parts of the day. It is thought that this electric energy can meet the daily energy requirement of a house and the excess energy can be transferred to the grid. %K Electricity Generation %K Renewable Energy %K Solar and Wind Energy %K Hybrid System %U http://jes.ksu.edu.tr/issue/30940/321514
