%X ？twoapproximatecomputationmethodswereproposedtoacquiretheoptimaltransmittingprobabilityandfurthertofindtheoptimalcontentionwindowsettingbyanalyzingtheinfluenceofthepriority-basedservicedifferentiationofieee802.11enhanceddistributedchannelaccess(edca)onthroughput.theoptimalcontentionwindowsettingcanhelpyieldthemaximumaggregatethroughputwhilemaintainingtheweightedproportionalbandwidthdifferentiationamongdifferenttrafficclasses.throughvalidationbynumericevaluationandsimulation,theresultsareprovedtobeveryclosetothetheoreticalvalue,andtheoptimalcontentionwindowsettingcaneffectivelyoptimizethethroughputperformanceofthewholenetwork.
