%X <正>fluidbeddryingofwhitesugarislatelybecominganindustrystandardineurope.thispaperpresentstheresultsofmeasurementsoftheperformanceofanindustrialscalefluidbeddryer/coolerforsugarhaving500t/dcapacity.theresultsarecomparedwiththecorrespondingresultsofacomputersimulationmodel.theinfluenceofseveralmodelparametersisdiscussed.satisfactoryagreementofthesimulatedandmeasuredresultshasbeenfound.
