%X themixedmicelleformationofbinarycationic14-s-14geminiwithconventionalsinglechainsurfactantswasstudiedbyconductivitymeasurements.thecriticalmicelleconcentration(cmc)andthedegreeofcounterionbindingvalues(g)ofthebinarysystemsweredetermined.theresultswereanalyzedbyapplyingregularsolutiontheory(rst)tocalculatemicellarcompositions(x),activitycoefficients(f1,f2),andtheinteractionparameters(β).thesynergisticinteractionsofalltheinvestigatedcationicgemini+conventionalsurfactantcombinationswerefoundtobedependentuponthelengthofhydrophobicspacerofthegeminisurfactant.theexcessgibbsfreeenergyofmixingwasevaluated,anditindicatedrelativelymorestablemixedmicellesforthebinarycombinations.
