%0 Journal Article %T 特提斯喜马拉雅多重基性岩浆事件:追溯新特提斯洋的生存时限 %A ZENG Ling-sen %A GAO Li-e %A HE Ke-jun %A TANG Suo-han %A GUO Chun-li %J 地球学报 %D 2012 %R 10.3975/cagsb.2012.s1.32 %X Processesaccompaniedthebreakupofcontinents,spreadingofoceanfloorandcontinent-oceantransi-tioncouldtriggerlargescalemeltingofthemantlebeneaththecontinentaswellastheocean,andpro-ducemaficmagmaswithdistinctgeochemicalcharac-teristics.Suchrocksprovideusanimportantrecordforunravelingthenatureandthetimeofdeeptectonicandmagmaticprocessesduringthetectonicevolutionoflarge-scaleorogenicbelts,suchastheHimalayanorogenicbelt.AsanintegratedpartoftheHimalaya,theTethyanHimalayaconsistsofwell-developedearlyPaleozoictoCenozoicsedimentsandisnotedforde-velopmentofspectacularsemi-continuous,thousandkilometerslonggneiss(orgranitic)domes.Ithaspre-servedcriticalrecordstoaddressthenatureofdefor-mation,magmatism,andmetamorphismassociatedwiththeopening,spreading,anddemiseoftheNeo-TethyanOceanandthefinalcontinentalcollisionbetweentheIndianandtheEurasianPlateattheearlyCenozoictime.Inaddition,italsocouldbeatype-exampletoaddressanumberoffirst-orderissueswithregardtothetectonicdynamicsofpassiveconti-nentalmarginduringtheWilson-cycle. %K TethyanHimalaya %K Neo-Tethys %K India-Eurasiacollision %K MaficMagmatism %U http://www.cagsbulletin.com/dqxbcn/ch/reader/view_abstract.aspx?file_no=2012s132&flag=1
